Textiles & Bath

What warms and dresses a home, and what makes a bathroom a pleasant place to be: rugs that define a space and add warmth, cushions and throws for the sofa and the bed, blinds and foutas, cotton towels and the accessories that bring order to the basin.

Textiles change a room faster than anything else, and they are the easiest thing to refresh from season to season. Play with layers: a rug large enough to sit under the front legs of the sofa, cushions in different sizes and weaves, and a throw simply tossed over the arm. In the bathroom, a set of towels in one tone pulls everything together at once.
